Christmas Programs
The program provides personalized hampers for low income families at Christmas and other holiday occasions throughout the year. Donors are recruited and matched to the recipients. Donors may consist of companies, organizations, community associations, individuals and families. Minimum requirements for a hamper should include a week’s supply of food, fixings for festive meal and one gift for each child and youth. The donor receives a profile of the family needs and first names, ages, sizes of each member of the family and a wish list. A guideline cost of a complete hamper which includes gifts and food for a family of 4 or 5 is approximately $400.00 to $500.00.
